My mother and I have had my cat for about a year now and my mother has been putting off getting him neutered ( I’m a minor so I can’t really take him myself.) we are in the process of moving and my mom is considering abandoning the cat at our old house because she doesn’t want him to piss out our new home. I saved up money to get him neutered but my local shelters are either closed because of corona or expensive. The ones that are affordable are on the north side which is too far since we don’t have a car. ( I live in Chicago and because of the riots there are a lot of racially motivated acts going on between black and white ppl rn.) Are there anyways I can prevent him from peeing everywhere until I can get him neutered?
He isn’t documented so our local animal Cruelty society won’t take him in!
