Difficult Kitten

Hello everyone,

About three weeks ago, I hear this little kitten screaming from somewhere in my garage at 11pm. Afraid that it might be stuck somewhere or hurt, I search around and find it inside the engine of the car and it didn't seem to be stuck.

I said, ok....there are quite a few cats that hand around our house's front lawn so I thought it might be the kitten of one of them. The entire night that kitten kept on screaming and howling and I basically realized that the kitten had been abandoned. So I decided to raise it myself and make sure that it was sociable with humans. As a disclaimer, I have raised about 8 cats so far and have had no problems with any of them. They've all grown to be very affectionate of me and my family and are very well behaved.

But "tiger" was a little different. The little fucker is the most annoying kitten in the world. The first week, I tried to give him wet food, dry food, ground beef and chicken and even liver to see if anything suited him but he would inspect the food, eat a little but and then carry on screaming.

I took him to the vet, got him dewormed and his fleas treated and eventually he started eating more and more. Now he eats like a moron until he gets extremely bloated. He also started developing some other concerning symptoms which have, for the first time in my life, made me question whether I am a good person or not as I started getting angry at this kitten.

First, he screams like fucking crazy for food. I try to follow a strict schedule so he doesn't develop an eating disorder, as I did with all the other kittens, but this little guy demands food like crazy and drives me nuts. He eats like a glutton and will not stop screaming if you try to limit his food intake.

Second, before I give him food he lets me touch and pet him (I need to pick him up and take him somewhere isolated so that the other adult cats don't eat the ground meat that he has to be fed) and then immediately after eating he starts clawing at and biting me.

This really annoys me and so, in frustration, I pick him up and give him a little shake and probably get a little too rough with him. I've never really touched any of my other cats with the slightest aggression but this kitten tests my patience too much.

After this happens, I spend the rest of the day thinking I am an asshole for being harsh with but can't seem to find a way to reduce his aggression. Would appreciate any advice on how to deal with him.
