My dog had surgery a few weeks ago, and he had to wear a cone until hes healed. I read on the internet that you're suppose to wash the cone with soap, and water everyday, but my well os dirty, and I'm waiting on someone to clean it. I've been using the water with me, but I buy bottled water for the dog, and every day I take his cone, and wipe it down with a wet paper towel. That's how I clean it. I dont use any soap, because then that would take up too much water, and they would mean I'd have to go to the store like every 2 days. Also, it's just a pain in the ass to clean it when I have to pour the water out of a water bottle , so I just wipe it down with a damp towel. Just by looking at the cone, it looks clean.
