All 4 of my babies have fleas. I have 2 cats and 2 dogs and they all. Have. Fleas.
Until today, I havent financially been able to do much about it. We got collars for everyone, but they did nothing. I usually get soresto but we couldn't afford them.
My poor dog has been effected hard. He has scratched himself bald and I've felt so shitty watching it happen. But I just didnt have the money to help him.
Today, though, I made an appointment with the vet for tomorrow for my dog. The rest of them has gotten soresto collars and I've spent an hour on each of them with the flea comb. I gave my dog a bath with 2 dawn dish soap rinses and 1 medicated shampoo wash plus a comb through with the flea comb.
On top of that, I've been rubbing all of them down with coconut oil every single night.
I've sprayed down all of our furniture and I'm just hoping that in a couple days, everyone will feel better.
But I still feel horrible and I'm worried the vet will judge me and I just... I love them so much and I feel so bad for letting them suffer for so long.
But I'm trying my best to make it better.
