My kitten, who we have had since she was a few weeks old, has started to show increasing aggression towards me.
It increased after she got spayed, but she has always had a short tempermant. Sometimes she justs "wakes up on the wrong side of the bed'. On these days she growls when I walk near her (even though I'm going somewhere else). She growls, screams, hisses, bites, and scratches at only me and not the 4 other family members.
The only thing that calms her down is to lock her in the bathroom for "time out" for a few minutes, but she returns to her angry, vicious self the next day. She has become increasingly nasty and has started to attack my face, which she has never done until two weeks ago.
She only does this with me and not with strangers.
I have no clue what to do about her anger and I feel bad that I can't help her. She is not afraid of me, because she willingly crawls into my bed at her scheduled sleep times and cries for my attention when I leave her alone.
I have tried many common method to train her, and need some more creative or informative suggestions.
