I adopted a kitten today and instead of slowly introducing my dog to my kitten I immediately mingled the two. My dog is a bit quieter and tame, and he seems fixated on the kitten. He gets in a playful, tail wagging stance and sniffs and cries at the cat. He's also licking it and sniffing it's butt. He seems sad that the cat won't play with him and its breaking my heart, even if I know cats can be naturally aloof. These seem like good signs to me but I'd like to hear input from others please!
