hi, my grandma was given a blue fronted amazon parrot about three months ago, her owner had passed away. the birds name is rainbow and she’s quite talkative and likes to sing and responds quite well to music. the issue we are having with her is that she lunges at you through her cage and tries to bite you, and then she will laugh at you after you jerk back. she’s very intelligent and you can tell she’s a sweet bird, she just bites and lunges. because of this issue everyone is too afraid to handle her or let her out of her cage in fear of being attacked. i’m not particularly knowledgeable on birds and their aggression. if someone could please give me any type of advice on how to handle her aggression and bond with her please please please give your word! thank you in advanced
