I adopted a dog from a shelter last week (a 7-year-old Lab mix) and I love him to pieces. But he’s been giving me a lot of trouble getting situated.
When I first brought him home he would whine and pace when he had to go out to the bathroom. Now the last few days, there are times where he is just peeing on my things without a second thought. I’m not sure what changed and I don’t know what to do, I don’t want my thing to get ruined or to keep cleaning it up.
I’m hoping someone who has experience owning dogs can give some advice on what to do. I’m not sure how easy it will be to train him at this point since he’s a senior, and he’s supposed to be potty trained according to the foster home I got him from.
