My parents got a new dog recently (I am no expert on breeds but its small), and they are set on the idea of bringing him over to my apartment. This would be fine, if not for my 3 cats. They are all from the same litter and are about 8 months of age. The dog is about 3 months. He is not exactly welcoming towards strangers and barks a lot. Is it totally irrational for me to be fearful of them not getting along and possibly injuring one another? They would only stay an hour tops, but nonetheless, everywhere I read online, it says that you have to be super careful when bringing cats and dogs together.
