Hi there! My fiance and I own 2 cats--one full-grown, who rarely sleeps on the bed with us (he prefers the windowsill or the sofa). We recently adopted a little kitten from the shelter, who's now been with us for about a week. He is a little sweetheart and he and our other cat have become buddies pretty quickly.
The only point of contention between my fiance & I right now is that he believes the kitten is too small to safely sleep in the bed with us. I disagree--we're two normal-sized people in a king-size bed, and a large fluffy pet bed that easily rests between us during cuddle time on the bed with the kitties. And the kitten cries for ages when we crate him at night.
Any input from fellow cat owners? Is 9 weeks really too young to allow a kitten to sleep in bed with its owners?
