I have never had a kitten before and my kitten is my first ever pet.
Her previous owner had a young child that didn't know how to behave around animals and grabbed the kitten around the neck and pulled her legs. So I bought her off the previous owner before she wound up at a shelter or even worse, get hurt.
I have only had her for 5 days but she seems very well adjusted in her new home. She eats normal amounts, plays with her toys, climbs her cat tree and likes to sleep directly next to my face at night. She also uses her litter.
She lightly bites and scratches me during her play mode but I hope I will be able to reinforce her to do that only to toys and not my skin with some training.
I work 3 days a week for 8-9 hours. My partner works 5 days a week. I am allowed to bring her to work with me and have been thinking if this is a good idea. The office only has 3 people working in it. So it is very small and I have my own room which I don't share with anyone else. I would buy her a cat tree, a hiding space some toys and a litter box for the office.
I have been reading mixed opinions online and wanted to know, if any of you had any experience with this.
