We have checked everywhere for anything potentially toxic, haven’t found anything and he doesn’t seem to be injured. We are putting in a call to the emergency vet right now but it may take them some time to get back to us. My question is — how long can it take for a dog to react to eating something toxic? We had someone dog sitting until yesterday. He was fine all night and most of today and it just hit him like a ton of bricks, he’s been with us all day. Normally I wouldn’t think it could take over 24 hrs for a dog to get sick from ingesting something but It’s been at least that long since he was alone with someone other than us. Any help very much appreciated!!!!
