Dogs during the pandemic in Vietnam

I live in a small city of Vietnam which is located in the south, called Ca Mau city.

My city has a host of people who work in Ho Chi Minh City and other provinces that are near HCMC. Since Vietnam has been suffering from a serious outbreak of covid-19, the workers were jobless and they couldn't afford for foods as well as other necessary things. Recently, HCMC has just opened and the workers decided to go back to their hometown - Ca Mau. There are over 30k people going back to Ca Mau. And there is one special family that went back to their hometown with 15 dogs by an old motorbike. You're not reading it wrong, it's 15 dogs and 2 people on an old motorbike. Fortunately, they could make it safely to their hometown. But now the owners are tested positive with covid-19.

About the dogs, the authorities here in Ca Mau decided to k.ill ALL OF THEM just because they afraid that the dogs would spread the virus to people. And of course, that action was criticized by all the dog lovers in Vietnam. And I want to make it internationally just to emphasize that dogs do matter. And no one would kill a dog if its owner were tested positive. HCMC has over 400k cases of covid-19 but they didn't kill any pet. And I think that no pets were killed just because of that silly reason.

Videos and photos about the dogs and their owners will be posted in the comment section.
