So! I'm currently in the process of establishing a new online pet store that's more friendly and catered towards pets with all the right stuff - and hopefully it contributes towards the change in the way small pets are perceived!
Especially because most people might not be that fond of heavily researching things before buying it for their pets (and I can relate to that - every time I get something for my cattos, I'm hunched over the computer all day researching like crazy and getting pretty stressed out) so I hope to remove all that stress and make sure pet owners can ONLY have the option to choose between the good stuff for their pets because it hurts me personally when I see good people buying less than appropriate things for the pets, so I want to remove that opportunity for them to buy the bad things.
For example I won't be selling those small hamsters and rabbit cages because they're actually pretty cruel in practice, and for birds, you won't be finding a single rope (nylon in particular) product because it could really injure them. I'm hoping to branch out and sell things in all fields so it becomes a one stop shop that you can feel confident in every time you add something to your basket, but for a start, I need to figure out a niche product that I begin with. For that, the best way to go about it was to reach out to multiple pet owners and get feedback so I made this survey and is really appreciate it if you could spare a few moments for it :)!
