Leave kitten at home or take her with me?

Hey everyone! I have a 3-month-old kitten and am debating taking her with me on a short trip from NYC to DC in a few weeks. I have to go to a funeral, so have no choice but to leave. Based on the itinerary below, do you think the trip would be too stressful for a young kitten? I brought her home from Pennsylvania (about a 4-hour ride) and she did really well. Normally I'd have my roommates feed/watch her, but they'll all be out of town so if I didn't bring her, I'd have to keep her in her own room with food, water, and toys. However, I've never left her alone for more than a few hours so worry about her being by herself for 3 days.

Proposed Itinerary:

Friday morning: Uber to train station, 4 1/2 hour rain ride to DC, Car ride to home (6 hours total)

Friday afternoon - Sunday morning: Stay with me at my parent's home (she'd be able to stay with me in my room and have plenty of space to run around)

Sunday morning : Car ride to Union Station, 4 1/2 hour train ride to NYC, Uber back home (6 hours total)

I also have the option of leaving a week earlier, so she'd be at my parent's house (with me) for 7 days rather than just 3, but the travel time there & back would be the same.

Thanks so much in advance for your help!
