I rescued my kitty when she was about 6 weeks old and she’s the only feline in the home. I have been potty training with her since the beginning trying to get her to use the litter box, but she’s not convinced by it.
At first she would potty in the corner of my living room. After I blocked off her corner she found one of my larger plants (a monstera) a suitable bathroom, so I put a plastic guard over the pot.
Recently, she started going potty in my bathtub over the drain. I scolded her for it and this morning I went to use my bathroom and before I could sit down I noticed in the bowl was my kittens excrement.
I don’t really know what to do. It seems like she wants to potty everywhere else but her litter box and now she wants to potty in the toilet.
Advice?
Thanks!
