We have a senior cat who had to have a bunch of teeth removed due to an infection a few months ago, and the vet has basically told us to keep him on a soft food diet for the rest of his life. Unfortunately, he doesn’t seem to ever want soft food, and constantly tries to keep eating regular food, which results in him puking up undigested food about 75% of the time.
The only food we can seem to get him to try is stuff covered in gravy, but even then he has a tendency to just eat off the top layer and then wants nothing to do with it. We’ve tried a few different brands and styles of food but just can’t seem to find anything that clicks. Any advice from you guys? We’re getting desperate.
