Hello everyone. I was worried about this but my sister brought a small kitten, about 2 months old into my smallish aparment, we already have a 2yo male neutered cat. At first the small one was tired and mostly slept so my older cat just smelled him but after smelling him slowly moved away looking petrified.
Now after a couple of days the small one recovered and tries to play. However my older cat seems stressed and disturbed. When the small one tries to play with him the older usually backs off stiff, a couple of times it looked like it will attack him so i moved the small one away. Currently i have no one else to give him to. My mother and me are kinda scared for them, we try to keep the small one safe but that usually means a sleepless night. Please give me any advise if it's possible at all to improve this situation.
