Hey guys, new to the community and fairly new to moving cross country.
I am about to be doing a 2000km move back home, with frequent stops about every 1-2 hours. And a hotel mid way.
I have rented a 26' moving truck and a flat deck trailer to tow my personal vehicle. The interior of the moving truck is quite small and won't fit the size of my dog.
My question is, is it legal to have a dog ride in a vehicle that's being towed? Has anyone ever done this? Any advice? What if the dog had proper ventilation and was restrained but not restricted with some kind of video monitoring?
My only other option would be to drive my personal vehicle down first with the dog, drive back, then drive the uhaul down with my vehicle being towed back.
Flying and/or one way rental car out of the question..
