I had an appointment to take my dogs in tomorrow to have their nails trimmed. When I got home today and took them out, I noticed my one dog was lifting his front paw.
On closer inspection, I noticed his dew claw split and there was some dried blood. Should I take him to the vet tomorrow or do you think he’d be alright to just go to his nail appointment?
I have it wrapped and secured just in case, but when I tried touching it he yelps (although to be fair - every time we take him to get his nails clipped they tell us how dramatic he is and that he screams the whole time 😂) That being said, it’s no longer bleeding and he is running around, playing fine.
