I purchased a few 12kg bags of food for my dog a few months back and stored them in the outhouse.
We must have left the door open overnight soon after as a Fox/cat has managed to cut open the bottom of one of the bags and helped itself to some of the food. I believe it may have been a cat as foxes usually leave a lot more damage and mess than a small hole and not a lot of food taken.
My question is, is it still safe (a couple of months after the incident) to feed this to my dog? Or is there a risk my dog may catch something?
It is good quality food (Canagan) from one of the more expensive brands, otherwise I wouldn’t hesitate to throw it out.
