I think my cat has bowel obstruction, does anyone have experience with this or advice?

My cat is about 18 months, I think she has a bowel obstruction but doesnt exactly match up with symptoms online she has been sweet and happy up untill today except for her stomach seemed hard and round. Others imput say she is just constipated but I believe she ate tinsil.

I've intending to take her to the vet since the weekend but I wanted to wait till friday so I'd have enough money and she didnt seem to have anything wrong except for her stomach being weird.

She has no issue with me pressing on her stomach, and has been eating and drinking normally, but she hasn't been using the litterbox as much as she should. Only a small amount. she did throw up during the month of December, but not continuously or what's described when I googled feline bowel obstruction, it was hair ball type according to what I'd researched online when it happened. I believe she ate some tinsil off the tree. I had the tree up for the week of Christmas,

Tonight she started to seem upset and overly affectionate, at around 2 a.m. she started leaking from her backside. I'm not sure if it was diarrhea or just a strange whiteish yellowish liquid.

I'm staying up till the vet office opens to make an appointment for as soon as possible, hopefully today.

My purpose for this post is to know if anyone has had experience with this and their pet? Does anyone else use humane society or a private practice, will they make the appointment ASAP? this common for cats? Has anyone else had pets get bowel obstruction and did they end up okay? If the surgery is expensive with they work out a payment plan?

I suppose I could ask the veterinary but I'd really appreciate imput from other pet owners if they have any advice or knowledge to pass on. I'm really worried for her.

I'm sorry if the format is bad, I'm on mobile.
