I've been feeding and petting this stray black cat for more than a year now. He's already a family friend and our dog loves him just as much and they play together w/ no agression.
He always goes out (in search of females says my dad) and only comes home when it's breakfast, lunch and dinner (basically whenever we eat) Bc of this we call him a fuccboi hahaha.
The problem is, in my country (PH) people consider black cats as bad omens and actively shoo or hurt them. He has a lot of scars on his body and it hurts to see this guy being mistreated just bc of superstition. I try to give him as much affection I can so he stays but he always goes out and wanders around our idiot neighbors.
Any ideas? I'm thinking of giving him a collar so people can tell he is owned by someone and hopefully they'll be reluctant on harming him, but other than that i have no more ideas. TIA!
