Hello... It really kills me to write this out, but I need some advice here.
We have an 18 year old cat who I believe is nearing the end of his life - he is puking up his water frequently right after drinking it, he is acting more withdrawn, and looking at his litter box, he hasn't been able to poop for a couple days or hasn't had to. As of a couple days ago, he has also started to hide out in places he wouldn't normally hide out in..
But the issue here is that my family doesn't believe he is anymore near the end of his life. I keep trying to bring up the subject that he may not be here for long and I keep getting the "he's fine" argument right back..
Additionally, my dog is acting really down over the past couple days as well, do they have a better sense of the impending than we do? I feel like we don't have a lot of time left with him just from seeing these signs.
