I have two cats, four and five year old both females. One (four year old russian blue) wants me constantly. I am a graduate student and stay in school from 8am to 5pm. I spend most of time home studying. I try to come home for the lunch and play with my cat, and I try to play with her at least for 10 minuets before bed. I live in a two story apartment with many windows. I have a cat condo and 4 litter boxes. I have two tunnels, one scratching pole and one turbo. I have a few other toys too. I got my second cat 2 years ago hoping they would entertain each other running, chasing and wrestling. My second cat is very calm and just sit in front of window or sit on my chair and chill. My second cat won’t play with my needy cat a lot. They groom each other, nap together, and play sometimes, but not enough. While my first needy cat constantly demanding me to play with her, my second cat does her own thing. I want my cats to play with each other more so that I can do my work please.. without guilt. I am very very very concerned that my first needy cat would get depressed and get sick (happened before). Please give me advices on how to satisfy my needy cat. I can’t afford third cat. Thank you
