Took my parakeets to the vets today and they both have mites. They both have medicine on them now, and I cleaned their cage and all of their toys with hot soap and water, and vaccuumed the room. But my ball python is in the same room as them. Should I be worried? I just cleaned her tank a few days ago so I would rather not have to do it all over again if I can help it, but If she's in danger of the mites hoppin over to her than its not even a question. Just wasn't sure if bird mites would even go after a cold-blooded animal. While I am aware that reptiles can get mites as well, I just didn't know if BIRD mites would be an issue.
