So I have met this cat twice the shelter so far, and have let them know I'm interested in adopting her. I will be going in next week, or the week after, depending on when I can get everything prepared for her. The cat is 11 years old and severely cross-eyed, being a siamese mix. Now, I've actually had a senior cross-eyed siamese before but nowhere near to the extent of this cat. I have a strong feeling the cat I'm going to adopt is visually impaired because it is just so cross-eyed.
Is there anybody who's had severely cross-eyed cats or visually impaired cats who could give me some advice? I want to make sure I'm doing this right. Is there a special recommend litter box? What about eye care? What are some general guidelines? Thanks guys!
