I know they can but I'm having trouble finding a way to do it and sorting out how much money it will be.
Does anyone have experience with this and can help a brother out?
I adopted an adorable street cat in Saudi Arabia (his name is Des) while living here. Now I have been offered a job in another country and I want to send Des to my brother who is waiting in the US with open arms for him to come. This seems easier on the cat (and my wallet) than taking him with me to another country and dealing with that process only to take him back to the states again when I leave.
I asked locals, the vet office, and expats but no one is willing to take him. So literally my only option is to ship him to my family in the US or turn him back onto the streets (not happening).
I figured my best option is to find a flight leaving around the time I want and contact the airline about proper protocol. I would like him to fly direct but if this is not possible I am wondering if a quick layover would be possible if the airlines don't change. Does this sound correct? Does anyone have any other ideas?
