I have a 6 year old miniature pinscher. The past couple days his temperament has changed a bit. I got him from a shelter when he was 9 months old. Back then he had an extreme case of separation anxiety but that slowly went away. The past few years I didn’t see any sign of it anymore, but now he doesn’t eat. He just lays in bed with a sock (he loves my socks). I’m wondering if dogs can be depressed and if so what to do? In September our other dog passed away so maybe he’s wondering where he is? I know he doesn’t like being away from me but I’m never gone too long. Either working or spending 1 night at my SO’s place. And when I’m gone he’s with my father who he loves just as much as me. Any advice is much appreciated!
