Incredibly nervous about impending first move with cat

background: adopted my cat 2 months ago, was a former feral since birth

Me and my cat are moving home for the summer in a couple weeks, and i've been slowly trying to acclimate her to her kennel so i don't have to struggle with her, but after 3 weeks I feel like i've made no progress. She'll eat in her kennel, but if i so much as move my limbs towards the kennel while she's doing it she runs away like i'm out for her blood, and she doesn't spend any time in it voluntarily outside of eating. (We worked our way up from half a kennel, to full kennel with door off, to door on and open)

I've been trying to watch videos of people getting "angry" cats into carriers, but it seems like in every video they've already managed to get behind the cat with a huge towel without it even caring, which I very much doubt I'll be able to do. I'm planning to get some calming treats and even something stronger from the vet just in case, but i'm not able to practice having her in there with the door closed at all.

Any help regarding getting her used to the kennel or for the day of would be greatly appreciated because honestly this is keeping me up at night worrying

E: She usually hides underneath a recliner in my room, and I considered taking it out and putting the kennel in it's place to force her to use it, but i'm not sure if that would do more harm than good, when she's under the recliner it's literally impossible for me to get her out, so if she gets under there on moving day it's gonna be a real big problem
