Hey everyone- Have been giving some thought to finding a place to live with my Sister in the near future- however she has some allergies when it comes to my cat.
I am currently in the process of getting a second cat, and have been planning since the better part of last year - I am doing some self reflection lately if a 2nd cat is really the right move (the possibility of out of country travelling/boarding expenses and living with my sister come into mind)
I love my sister, but I also love my cat- We've lightly discussed the nature of how it would work; and she mentioned she would likely be comfortable if my cat was confined to my bedroom; which is less than ideal unless the bedroom was comfortably large with a nice window sill
My current arrangement is a cozy 300-350sqft 1 bedroom basement apartment (just guessing based off other floor plans) a cat tree that reaches the windows in the main living area
Does anyone have an experience or advice on living with someone that has cat allergies? Is it doable or just a pipedream to be able to live with my cat-allergic sister and 1-2 cats?
