Hi guys, I need some advice on marbled newts. Anything would be apprecIated. I've done all of the research I can but as someone who's never kept newts and considering the fact marbled newts are a relatively uncommon species, there's one thing I need to know. Many of the websites I've been on talk about setting up a mostly aquatic tank for spring for the mating season. Is that absolutely necessary or can I still keep my newts terrestrially rather than have to change the whole tank every spring? Thank you for any reply.
