My girlfriend and I have been living in Poland for a few years for school and we got two cats about 2 years ago, we’re now moving back to the states. From my research and calling Lufthansa (multiple times to be sure), CDC and the USDA nothing is really required besides a general statement of good health from a vet, and just making reservations with the airlines. The thing I’m not sure about is if there’s any export laws, or requirements that apply to leaving Poland with the cats, the government phone numbers in Poland haven’t really given us clear answers about this. I’m wondering if anyone else has had experience in moving pets from Poland to the USA and what they had to do. Thanks!
