It's been 9 hours and he climbed about 50ft high. He hasn't tried climbing down yet despite calling and shaking the treat bag and opening cans of tuna. He is pretty high up and I don't know if he can get down.
I've called animal control AND 911. They wouldn't help me. Next I tried calling tree services, and it took forever to get to someone to call me back on a Sunday so it's too late now to get someone to come and get him down.
I have a tree climber to come by for 9am but I am praying he doesn't get spooked by the thunderstorm coming and runs away. For the time being, I left out his carrier with some of his litter and food. I hope if he finds it he will stay in it until I can come down and get him.
Does anyone know the chances he won't just run away somewhere? What do I do? If possible I'd love to hear some success stories if your cat was stuck in a tree before
