My ex husband is not taking care of his dog. He leaves him at my house until he feels like taking him. Then he only takes him for the night. The dog is literally chewing his fur off. He chews his paws, his tail, he is constantly shaking his head. He has itchy welts over his stomach and chest. I can't afford to take him to the vet. I've been giving him benyadryl, but it isn't helping. I'm very close to taking him to a shelter because I don't have the financial means and my ex doesn't have any interest in him.
What do I do to help the dog?$1
