My sister breeds dogs and my niece really wants a pet leopard gecko.
In researching the leopard gecko to decide if she wants to have one, my sister read some things online about the different diseases leopard geckos can carry, such as certain types of herpes, adenoviruses, coccidia, and leptospirosis.
She’s especially concerned that the newborn puppies may contact something (some of the articles mention certain things being transmittable through the air).
If there’s anyone here that breeds leopard geckos or is extremely familiar with them, what dangers exist for having newborn puppies in the same household as these geckos?
