Parents

This is my first time posting here but i knew no where else to ask. my sister recently got a. 4 month old kitten passed down by my aunt but she has basically disowned him and he went from being an inside cat to strictly a outside cat . Shes disliked the kitten so i took charge in caring for him. Its very difficult to keep him outside due to him being harrased by older ferral cats they scratch him bite him steal his food yet this still wont convince my parents to bring him inside. Yesterday nigth he was attacked and his eye was gouged out by my neighbors outside cat that is a lot older YET my parents still wont let him inside at least during the nigth. i need help what do i do in this situation? how can i convince my parents to let him inside for his safety?!
