I noticed that my mouse has a messed up ear, it looks like a small part is missing off the top and it’s folded back a bit. It wasn’t like that a few days ago. I do have her in a crittertrail cage which I know isn’t the best or the safest, but she’s lived in there happily for over a year. The only new thing in her cage recently is a kapok nest & chew pod. My dog sometimes paws at the cage but I doubt her ears were close enough to the bars to be touched by my dog. Any ideas for how this could’ve happened? Is it possible she did it to herself somehow?
