Hi there! Me and a friend with a pit bull mix have been looking for apartments in the Boston area for a couple of months now. I've found several dog-friendly apartments, but every time the landlords see a picture of her we immediately get a hard no.
Details: My friend is a professional dog trainer, and has trained and raised her since birth. I've never met a dog more kind, obedient, and calm. We even provided certifications for her advanced education in dog training, and veterinary documents that define her as a "lab mix". We have great credit and full-time jobs, so I'm certain the only reason we are getting rejected is because of her breed. Has anyone else experienced this? Is there anything I can do? Any advice would be greatly appreciated!
