So, we’ve thought about it a lot, and we’re at our wit’s end with this dog. He’s my mother’s dog and she got him 7-8 years ago for her birthday without consulting the rest of the family first. My dad and I hate him. My mom never bothered to potty train him so he still shits and pisses everywhere in the house, is generally annoying, still yips like a damn puppy and probably has some mental issues. My mom absolutely refuses to take him to a shelter (even a no-kill shelter which I’ve recommended multiple times) and says she wants to “put him up for adoption locally somewhere on the internet” I don’t know what sort of website we’d go to in order to put the dog up for adoption like that, and despite all my research I’m pretty sure what my mom is looking for quite plainly doesn’t exist.
Where should I go/what should I do since shelters arent an option?
