Wanted to get some advice on what to do with our cat while we’re away on holiday. My partner and I would be going away on a Monday afternoon and coming back on Saturday night (5 nights). The choice we have is whether to get my parents to visit her twice a day every day to give her food/ change litter and give her some attention during that time or to take her over to their house while we’re away. A bit of background on our cat - she is 4 years old and quite shy of anyone else apart from us, she is also an indoor cat. She has stayed over at my parent’a house before however from what they’ve told me she spent most of her time hiding away in a free room or under a bed and seemed mostly spooked by them especially for the first few days. When I came back last time I found her sat away upstairs on the bed in a free room.
Not sure whether leaving her at home in an environment she is more comfortable in with daily visits would be the better option here?
