One of my two cats passed away unexpectedly this week. Next week, I return to work and will need to leave the surviving one at home for about 9-10hrs three days a week and I’m extremely anxious that she will be sad/lonely/scared. Do any of you have experience with the readjustment of a surviving cat?
I know eventually I’ll get her a new companion, but I’m not ready to just yet as the passing of my other love was just a few days ago. My surviving cat has always had her sister so she’s never really been alone and I’m very worried about her adjustment.
