So I've seen dogs and interacted with dogs where we would play tug of war with a rope. And it was fun and felt natural but I would never imagine doing something like that with a cat.
I always pick up my kittens toys. One of them is a DIY ball of like party string I made and I always pick it up to make sure that its staying together like it's supposed to.
And she loves when I pick it up to check it. She'll run over. And I've noticed she doesnt have her claws out at all even though shes basically attacking this thing in my hand.
Like it was where if she missed and hit my hands it was just her paw like she was smacking me. And its cute and fun. But when j stop playing with it she gets bored immediately and goes do whatever she does to entertain herself at the time (I. E. Look out the window; climb stuff).
She likes it when we both fighting for control over it from one another it seems. Like shes VERY playful about it. So it's kind of like tug of war with dogs or something similar.
I just thought it was crazy.
