Humane society not as humane as you thought

I have a friend who turned a dog into the humane society for personal reasons, and after an examination they determined that she was unadoptable. Nothing was wrong with her physically, yet because she was scared of most people they decided that she didn't have what it takes to be adopted.

I myself had become quite attached to her and wanted to take her myself and when I went in to see how she was doing I was told to just keep an eye on the adoption floor and I would eventually see her there. Later that day I was talking to her previous owner and found that she was euthanized just because she would need some patience and kindness. She was probably the sweetest most lovable dog I have ever met after you get her to trust you and she has never hurt a single person in her life. Her life ended way to early, as she wasn't even full grown yet, because the humane society decided that she was "too shy" and they hid that information from me as I was asking them if I could see her.

Just some food for thought.
