Hi, I’m looking for advice on my almost 17 year old cat. She’s a medium haired tortie and is having hygiene issues. When she poops, she’ll get dingleberries stuck to her butt or her fur. But when it’s fresh, she’ll get it all over the place when she sits. I’ve found messes on the hardwood floor and even my couch. I’m at a loss of what to do and to prevent her from accidentally soiling the couch and bed. I do wipe her bum with baby wipes when I know she’s gone to the bathroom, but realistically I can’t always be on watch.
