I have a German Shepherd puppy. She's just shy of a year old, and she's my world. I've heard cooked bones are a hard no, but I was pressured to give her a smoked rib bone. She obviously really wanted it, and people were shaming me for not giving her one. They reassured me by saying they feed their dogs (smaller breed) all kinds of bones without issue.
The problem is I've been anxious ever since giving it to her. What's the likely hood of her actually getting a punctured intestine? I know I'm probably paranoid, but she's my first puppy so be nice!
