Tips and tricks of moving (driving 15 hrs) cross country with a 4 year old cat?

I'll be moving to a new state in a few weeks with my cat. We'll be driving roughly 15 hours, but splitting it into two days. She's okay in the car, but absolutely hates her carrier (fights going in, but otherwise doesn't complain about being in there).

We've done our last vet check up, and talked to the vet about sedatives (we prefer not to) but ultimately decided on trying out some pheromone sprays.

Are there any other tips and tricks that helped your drives better with your cats? Specifically making them calmer and not have any accidents?
