I have a 1 1/2 year old tabby male who whenever I come home its like hes never seen me before. Hes kinda shy normally and has been since a kitten, (I've had him since he was born) and its like he forgets who I am for the first 5 minutes when I get home. He will haul ass running away and hide behind the couch, then 5 mins later hell be jumping in my lap meowing back to his normal self. Has anyone else experienced this before? If theres anything I can do to stop stressin the lil guy out advice is greatly appreciated.
For example, when I came home from being out for 4-5 hours he was freaking out, running away and hiding from me, in the time it took me to write this post he calmed down and was begging to be picked up lol
