Dog has constant spasms and vet couldn’t help.

Hi Reddit. I need help. This post is open to advice from any pet owner as well as anyone even remotely similar to a veterinarian. We’re desperate.

We have a 5 month old Labrador mixed puppy who has uncontrollable and constant muscle spasms in her chest. They’re present anytime she lays down or tries to relax including when she sleeps. When walking, chewing, playing, meeting new people or training, she’s totally fine and there’s no symptoms. However when she slows down and tries to chill out, she shakes. They occur centralized in her chest and arm, mostly on her right side, however this causes her arms and head to twitch slightly. Usually, she can ignore it but there have been more than a few occasions where she has whimpered repeatedly for a long time, looking for a way to get comfortable. We can’t tell if the whimpers are due to annoyance/exhaustion or due to pain. They started about a week after we brought her home, and have progressively gotten worse. We spoke to and had her seen by our vet and they said they had never seen it before. They ordered a fecal test and bloodwork, all of which came back totally fine. They said she was completely healthy. They gave her muscle relaxers that did absolutely nothing. She was originally a stray dog, brought to Colorado from New Mexico to avoid being euthanized in a kill shelter. They have information on her from June, meaning she was likely stray for her first 3 months.

She eats Whole Hearted Dry Food with Pedigree wet food, Old Mother Hubbard’s Peanut Butter treats, Zeke’s training treats, Greenies and we give her a Kong with peanut butter once a day 4 days a week, when we both work and she’s stuck in the kennel.

I’ve scoured the internet and can’t find anything. She doesn’t fit any symptoms. She eats all her food, she plays constantly, she drinks a ton of water, she loves going on walks, and shows no sign of issue aside from the spasms. My only ideas are Canine Stress Syndrome, White Dog Shaker Syndrome, Canine Epileptoid Cramping Syndrome, and Myoclonus. I’m really hoping not the last one.

Please help y’all.
