We were given a dog 3 weeks ago. After talking to previous owner several times we decided to take the dog. After he gave us the history of how he got her, said her original owner couldn't keep her because of living situation, he had her for a year He told us he wanted her to live with a active family because he didn't feel he can give her what she needs. She's a husky and as everyone knows they need alot of exercise. Anyways like I said we've had her 3 weeks. 5 days ago he sente a message wanting her back. Before I could answer that he claimed the original owner now wants her back. My question is do we have to give her back? No money was exchanged for a rehoming fee or anything. Our kids and grandkids fell in love with her and she gets along with our other husky. Should we get a lawyer involved in it or what?
